Attention to all Guests! Please read the following updates before booking:

We will not be offering Day Use from Wednesday 12/23 through Sunday 1/3.

We are currently open!

Update 10/10/20:

Orr Hot Springs officially reopened on the 29th of June. We wish to thank everyone who has supported us so far during these very uncertain and troubled times! Your patronage has helped us keep the lights on, the cats fed, and the water flowing.

Our current methods of operation seem to be working so far, and the vast majority of feedback we've been receiving has been overwhelmingly positive, even with the limitations we've had to abide by due to COVID.

We plan to continue operating throughout the winter, and have developed the following plan starting November 1st:
  • Day Use will be offered Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, from 12:00PM to 5:00PM. The current rate is $100.00 for 1 or 2 adults. See our Day Use page for more information.
  • Cottages will be offered for overnight stays with a 3-night minimum on the weekends, check in Friday, check out Monday.*
  • Rooms will be offered for overnight stays with a 2-night minimum Thursday through Sunday. See our Overnight page for more information.
  • We are not offering camping at this time.

*Note: our cottages are already booked out pretty far in advance, but you're welcome to contact us to see if there have been any cancellations, or to be added to the wait-list.

Our Philosophy

Our philosophy is, and has always been, to offer a beautiful, secluded, and relaxing experience for our guests to unwind, detach, and disconnect from their busy lives.

While in the past we have embraced the communal spirit of our property and our guests, in order to reopen in a safe manner, we are temporarily modifying Orr Hot Springs to serve as more of a "personal" retreat.

Safety

During our trial opening, the main steps we are taking in order to help keep our guests safe are:

1. Limiting Capacity. There will be a maximum of 20 guests on the property at any time.

2. Sanitization. Our staff will be committed to sanitizing all high-traffic and high-touch areas of the property as often as we are able, but at least every 1-2 hours. All tubs and tub rooms will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized between reservations.

3. Limiting Indoor Communal Areas. At this time we will not be offering use of the Lodge, Library, or our full Communal Kitchen (see Day Use Pantry). Outdoor sunbathing and sitting areas will be available for guests wanting to relax while not soaking.

Mask Policy

Masks or face coverings are required:
  • During Check-In and Check-Out.
  • During any interaction with Orr Hot Springs Staff or other Guests.
  • While in the Day Use Pantry.
  • While in the Changing and Locker Room.
  • While in any Restroom.
  • Any time physical distancing is not possible.

Masks are not required:
  • While soaking or relaxing outside on the lawn furniture.
  • While in the Showers.
  • Any time physical distancing is possible, and does not conflict with the requirements listed above.

Social Contract

Staff
We, as the stewards of Orr Hot Springs, and the hosts to our amazing and wonderful guests, are committed to staying home when we feel unwell, or have any hint that we may be unwell in the future. We will always wear masks when interacting with guests, and maintain safe sanitization and hygiene standards.

Guests

For the safety of our guests and staff, we ask that all guests coming to Orr Hot Springs do so with a clear conscience.

Several symptoms of COVID-19 are the following:
  • Minor or Major Fever
  • Cough
  • Shortness of Breath
  • Headaches
  • Sore Throat

If you, or a family member have experienced any of these symptoms in the past 14 days before your arrival date, or if for any reason you believe that you may have contracted COVID-19, we ask that you please cancel your reservation as soon as possible. Please see our Cancellation page for more information.

Soaking

To help prevent the spread of the Coronavirus, and to maintain safe bathing standards, each reservation will have one tub all to themselves. The water from these exclusive-use tubs will not flow to, or flow from, any other tub.

Our Cold Swimming Pool will be open, as it is large enough to allow for 6-foot physical distancing.

Food

For Day Users, we will be offering a pantry area for food storage and refrigeration, but not cooking. Please see the Day Use Pantry page for more information.

For Overnight reservations, food storage and preparation options will be provided in each accommodation. Cottages contain full kitchens, while Rooms have a Refrigerator/Microwave.

Water Sample Missed
Due to an oversight, we accidentally missed the sampling of our domestic water supply in September 2020. We urge all of our past, current, and future guests to read about this incident by clicking here.
